Since the moment this Roksanda coral midi dress hit stores a little over a year ago, I was dying to get my paws on it. In a truly (truly) heartbreaking twist of fate, I didn’t successfully snag it before it sold out and it’s been gnawing away at me for months (#regrets y’all). I was ecstatic a month ago when it miraculously popped up for sale at The Outnet (i.e. I audibly squealed, which potentially shows a deep-seated misalignment of priorities which we can address at a later time… or not). Unfortunately, albeit unsurprisingly, this exact dress is now sold out again, but so many similar pieces from the same collection (one of my favorite collections ever) are still available at an enormous discount. While I paired the dress with this black and white jacquard coat (which is also old and sold out… I’m sorry, please don’t hate me) for a more fashion-forward look for shows during NYFW, the dress serves as a great reminder that you can have tons of fun with style and color while still maintaining a classic, professional look. I had business meetings throughout the day between shows, and this dress adapted to each situation without a hitch.
I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but I’ve become completely obsessed with statement earrings of late—particularly those of the sleek, geometric variety. The gold circle earrings I’m wearing today are Argento Vivo, which has one of the best (and most affordable) collections. Confession: I also bought them in silver as well as this cool mixed-metal pair. A few more of my favorites below…
