I’m a huge fan of culottes, especially crisp, tailored versions like these that are formal enough for even quite conservative offices. In warmer months especially, they’re a nice departure from the staid dress pants that you (and I) usually gravitate towards when dressing for work. Above the waist today, I’m featuring this beautiful silk jacket and silk tank which will serve as your absolute best friends if you need to be covered up during business hours but live in a place that is brutally hot this time of year. The result is a very formal ensemble, with comfort and breathability galore. Take that, August.P.S. While I’d never suggest wearing this tank by itself in the office, it’s the perfect thing to wear underneath a blazer (or, ahem, adorable silk jacket) that you can sport alone at happy hour.
