It all centers around a beautifully printed skirt, a piece that does all the heavy lifting for you. This floral number is by Mara Hoffman, and it’s the focal point that makes the rest of the look come together effortlessly while also being a fun multi-tasker that was paired later in the week with this fuchsia bodysuit for dinner. For daytime, I paired it with this trusty white button-down (yes, they’re technically men’s!) which you’ve heard me rave endlessly about—they’re the BEST and so cheap!  Like the skirt, the classic white shirt is one of those pieces you can pack and wear multiple times/ways whether you’re headed to a ladies lunch or just want something easy to throw over jean shorts for a walk on the beach. 

When it came to accessories, I went beach-town-brown for the belt, bag, and sandals. The sandals and belt are old standbys of mine, but this bag my friends—it’s by Hereu and don’t look now but I think it’s going to steal cage bags’ limelight this summer. Simple, classic neutral tones with fun details are perfect for winter jaunts someplace warm when you’re not yet sure what fun pops of beachy color you’ll be into for spring and summer.

If you want to feel like the look is truly pulled together, a classic earring and fuchsia lip are your fastest ticket there.
