These pictures are unusually glammy/senior portrait-y for this blog, but my photographer successfully jedi-mind-tricked me into frolicking around this gorgeous banyan tree, happy as a clam (omg beach puns! nailed it!) so I went with it. While perusing Club Monaco before heading off to greener (literally) pastures, I became instantly enamored with the combination of this slate grey jacket and the pale pastel shade of blush pink in the pants and sweater. As indicated by the unusual number of photos today (sorry for the overload), I just can’t get enough of the color combo–especially against the beautiful sunny backdrop. It’s also worth noting that if you like the untucked look (last seen here and here), check out these Club Monaco sweaters. The silk shirttail is actually sewn onto the bottom of the sweater so that you avoid any bunching from actually layering pieces, but still maintain the layered look in a really polished, sleek way. Ba da BING. Of course, this relaxed ensemble is reserved for Casual Fridays at the office, and these sandals in particular may not work for those of you in conservative work environments. However, as with all posts, I hope you can at least find the palette as inspiring as I do, and perhaps bring it to life in a way that is your own and uniquely suited for your particular office. Happy Friday! P.S. It is entirely possible that I throw caution to the wind and embark on a new career as a deep-sea fisherman (fisherwoman?) so that I don’t have to return to freezing cold New York City. Just wanted to be up-front about that. Ahoy, Matey. Shop the Post:
