As mentioned in this recent post, now is a great time to snag high-quality classics like this cozy sweater dress on major sale as winter winds (ever-so-slowly) down. This particular frock has been my favorite “Monday dress” all winter long. It’s basically one giant hug of a dress in the softest, comfiest knit that makes easing into the work week a whole lot more palatable. Also, it has pockets. I repeat. IT HAS POCKETS, PEOPLE.

In case you haven’t noticed, I’m a bit obsessed with waist belts. Whether it’s over a dress, a long shirt, a coat or a jacket, an interesting waist belt like this one not only adds interest to an otherwise-basic look, but also helps create and accentuate your shape.
