[thefeedproducts style=’four’]I’ve lived in San Francisco for a little over six months now, and man does this place toy with my emotions weather-wise. I know. It’s Monday morning, and we’re talking about the weather. Chances are most of you just endured an elevator ride with awkward coworkers in which the weather was already painfully and comprehensively examined. I used to try to time myself to see how long a weather-exclusive conversation could be held while trapped in the confines of the metal box that took me from the first to the 27th floor. I don’t want to brag, by my record was nine minutes. So there’s that. But I digress…
I’m getting tuned up to the idea that San Francisco summers are riddled with lots of overcast, cold-ish (let’s be real it doesn’t drop below 60º) days. The psychological warfare waged by the calendar saying “July” and my weather app saying “62º” is no joke. And so, with great joy, I give you the sleeveless turtleneck dress.
I’m a sucker for graphic black and white, and this striped turtleneck dress is perfect for those overcast summer days when you want something a little more cozy, but still summery (it’s July for crying out loud!) and dressy enough to wear to the office.
A word to the wise: If you’re buying this dress for a professional setting, I’d advise ordering one size larger than your normal size. The dress is cut snug, which is perfect if you’re interested in wearing it for extracurricular activities. In the workplace, however, it will likely be more comfortable (and appropriate) with a bit of give.
