The 15 Absolute Best Beauty Products:
ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS
1
I fully hear where you’re coming from with this one. When you find a brow solution that works for you, you’re committed for life. I, Mary, take thee, Anastasia.
Side note: this is also one of the few brands I’ve found whose lighter shades for blondes don’t look orange or golden. You guys know I use this in my beauty routine regularly. Anastasia, you get me and I thank you.
BENEFIT COSMETICS
2
GLOSSIER
3
LAURA MERCIER
4
Color me not shocked that this Laura Mercier setting powder made the list. This brand is like the olive oil of our beauty collections. High quality, necessary for daily life, and used to the last drop. Except that metaphor is actually terrible because this product specifically also combats oil. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN, GUYS.
5
Not only did tons of you say this is your ride-or-die, but you also indicated that you’re particularly addicted to the shade Mehr. See, when we get into specific shades, that’s when panic really sets in. This was by far your favorite shade of Mac’s beloved matte lipstick, so stock up, ladies—it can’t hurt. Living without it however, sounds painful.
6
Similar situation here. Because, can you imagine the Sephora stampede if something were to happen to it?! I truly have nightmares about the Nars Powermatte being discontinued (especially in shade Star Woman or Under My Thumb). It lasts forever, doesn’t dry out your lips and, quite simply, can never leave my vanity.
BAND-AID
7
Here’s an interesting one that I wasn’t expecting. Although, it’s officially new sandals season so I don’t know why I’m surprised. This magic stick helps prevent all kinds of blistering and chafing, and is a true miracle in the summer months. Keep one in every purse. If Johnson and Johnson ever discontinue this, I may have to go barefoot.
IT COSMETICS
8
Agreed, friends, totally agreed. The perfect CC cream is absolutely priceless when it’s time for your warm weather makeup routine, and this one is consistently rated SO VERY HIGHLY. I’m honestly blown away by the number of people who sing its praises. This IT Cosmetics CC Cream a foundation, SPF 50+ physical sunscreen, brightening color corrector, hydrating serum, primer, concealer, and moisturizing day cream all in one. Hoard, hoard, hoard.
9
I too have strong feelings about my favorite mane manager, and I know this oldie-but-goodie is seriously beloved. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, you know? Also, do you think they sell it by the case?
ERBORIAN
10
I have been dying to try this product after seeing its ratings! (Also its price tag.) According to you (and its glowing Sephora reviews) this product not only evens skin tone, but also packs a seriously moisturizing punch. How many BB creams is too many BB creams to own when you only have like… technically one face?
ESTÉE LAUDER
11
You never need to justify your skincare obsessions to me. Go forth, my friends, and moisturize. While you’re at it, reap the benefits of anti-aging antioxidants and broad spectrum SPF of this amazing Estee Lauder day cream. This one is a cult-favorite for a reason.
GIORGIO ARMANI
12
Did we just become best friends? If anything had the capacity to knock my favorite Make Up For Ever HD foundation off its throne, it would be this one. Just take a look at those 280K Sephora loves. The Armani Luminous Silk foundation has a super natural, luminous finish and is buildable, yet lightweight.
LANEIGE
13
Yes! I was so delighted to see this one pop up and know I’m not the only one who’s fallen in love with this little miracle over the last year. Throw this on at night and your pout will be plumped and ready to rock (the beloved lip products listed above, obvi).
SUNDAY RILEY
14
This all-in-one lactic acid treatment isn’t cheap, but if the ratings are any indication, it’s worth every penny. When you find a skincare product that generates a noticeable improvement for you, there’s literally no reason not to be loyal for life.
URBAN DECAY
15
A product that makes our day-to-day makeup game easier and always spot-on is a product worth buying by the dozen. This eyeliner is beloved because it goes on smooth and doesn’t budge or smudge all day. Like the MAC lipstick mentioned above, this product not only came recommended in droves, but many of you were specific about your love for shade Zero.

Omg, Mary!!! I would die if #1 and #7 were discontinued. I can’t live with crappy looking brows and WILL go barefoot! So many great brands! I have to try a lot of them. I do love It Cosmetics and Armani Power Fabric myself! I LOVED this post!
She Sweats Diamonds
I would have to add D-Bronzi to the list now. I bought it after your recent Monday reco. It’s so good! Mixes so well with other products. I only need a tiny bit of foundation now. I always want to try boy brow, but wish it came in more shades. I have dark, almost black eyebrows, but lighter hair (both naturally and chemically). So, I tend to buy brow products that are between the two boy brown colors.
Complete must-haves I must say Mary!
Love,
Nikki

Hi,
Thanks for sharing the beauty products. I really like your collection of the best 15.
These should never be discontinued!
These should never be discontinued!!!
Really helpful list! Definitely want to try the Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder.
What about Clinique face moisturizing lotion? I was hoping to see it on this list. I have been using it for a few years now as per your previous post recommendation and absolutely love it.
