Maintaining a professional appearance in this oppressive heat and humidity requires an olympic-level of warm weather styling skills… which (let’s just say) did not come naturally to me at the start. On multiple occasions, I have arrived at the office looking like someone better suited for a remake of The Exorcist than for business activity of any kind. Luckily, I’ve learned a thing or two since my first experiences as a professional in the northeast. In today’s post, I went for breathable garments and footwear with this dressed-up linen tunic, wide leg pants, and mules―all of which facilitate air circulation and make for a much more heat-friendly office get-up.
