    Cashmere Cableknit Sweater Under $40

The title kind of says it all, but I’m never one to leave you wanting for details. This amazingly affordable cashmere cableknit sweater is stunning in person and incredibly soft. It’s an oversized piece in a tunic style, and I’ve ordered it in the cream and navy colorways. One tip: Make sure you pay attention to the actual measurements in the product description since it’s listed as “one size fits all.”

    Birdies Sneakers

This just in: Birdies makes SNEAKERS NOW. The beloved brand for stylish, luxe flats and slip-ons that look like shoes but feel like slippers now makes an unbelievably essential sneaker as well. Birdies is so good at marrying luxury, wearability and comfort. Their shoes instantly become your go-to pairs. I’m overjoyed about this fine footwear development, and the fact that it comes in so many colorways doesn’t hurt, either.

Line & Dot Cable Knit Dress

I recently bought this sweater dress from Shopbop and I have to tell you, it’s one of those dresses that doesn’t look great on the product page, but looks gorgeous in person. It is slightly oversized, so size down if you prefer your sweater dresses to be more fitted. This dress has been ideal for blending comfort, coziness, and a bit of chic during long days of working from home. Also, it’s an amazing price for something that will be a closet hero for years to come.

    The Sil

Not to be confused with The Sill, where you get amazing plants, The SIL is my new favorite destination for clothing from independent designers that’s not available anywhere else. Many of their gorgeous styles are actually made to order and every piece is completely exclusive to their beautifully-curated boutique. I strongly recommend browsing the classic dresses on offer which includes this gorgeous white frock that I will be ordering momentarily. If you’re looking for truly unique items, this is a special place to shop.

    Black Designer Spotlight at Shopbop

Shopbop recently shared a beautiful spotlight piece on Black designers and this Lemlem dress obviously had to be mine. It’s giving me hope that summer is a real thing that will eventually happen again, and when it does I will have this breezy beauty to float around in on the beach. Can you picture it? Wearing gauzy fabrics again??

    Universal Standard Jumpsuit

Universal Standard really doesn’t miss when it comes to everyday essential clothing that’s size-inclusive, comfortable, and affordable. The brand can do no wrong. At the moment I have my eye on their Jemma V Neck Jumpsuit, a key basic for easy days at home as we move into spring and summer. Throw on a necklace and a blazer and no one on Zoom need be the wiser…

    Metropolitan Museum Of Art Sweatshirt

If you’re missing New York (and by you I mean me, I am missing New York, you is me, I am you), The Met Museum’s sweatshirt is a perfect, stylish reminder of one of NYC’s most beloved landmarks. I love a good outside-of-the-house sweatshirt that can be styled up with accessories and the right bottoms or a good straight-leg jean and chic flat or sneaker. Also, since beloved institutions like the Met have been hit so hard by the pandemic, now is a great time to show your socially-distant support by making purchases from their online stores. Did I mention…

    Pink Jeans

I repeat, PINK! JEANS! Perhaps it’s the bland color palette of a wintery morning that’s got me craving color, but I’m really feeling this pink jeans situation. Colorful denim, once the backdrop to the 80s and 90s, might be able to find its place again in a post-pandemic, we-need-a-mood-lifter world. Also, I’m just thinking of all the fun shoes I could pair with these, so there’s that. I absolutely love the high-waisted, wed-leg fit.

    Free People Lounge Set

I recently bought this pullover and joggers set from Free People, and I could probably live in it, if forced. Okay, fine, even if not forced. It’s so comfy and cozy, and I love a jogger pant sometimes because they prevent my feet from getting tripped up on slippers, robe or cardigan hems, etc., especially since I’m at the point in the pregnancy where I can no longer see my feet. FYI, this set (top and bottom) also comes in oatmeal and charcoal!
