When you have children, you quickly become reliant on white noise machines. White noise calms babies and helps them settle at bedtime and throughout the night. But, what about overtired/overworked moms and dads? This is where brown noise comes in. Brown noise is similar to white noise in that it also generates a calming background sound, but brown noise has more bass and a lower overall frequency so instead of the hum of a fan or TV static, it sounds more like thunder rumbling or the roar or a distant waterfall.
