The response to my collab with Buru has been completely overwhelming, to say the least. While most of the collection has sold out, there are still a few killer pieces in stock including my most-worn piece of the entire collection, the Mandarin dress in dark chambray. This dress is versatile, comfortable and truly seasonless — it’s my dream everyday dress. This incredible blackwatch blazer is also still available, as is this gorgeous mod top and this reversible houndstooth vest. We are working hard to make more of the styles that sold out so quickly including the Mary Dress which currently has a waitlist over 600 people long! Thank you thank you thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your kindness and enthusiasm for this collection!
Your wedding may be over, but this chic frame keeps the romance alive. Handcrafted with the most breathtaking details, this Fleur Home frame was created exclusively for Over the Moon. The Toujours frame encapsulates 19th century French interior design with floral motifs full of symbolism including the rose for love, the iris for courage, and wheat for abundance. Perfect for newlyweds or anyone celebrating an anniversary milestone, the frame can be personalized with a marital initial, or can be left letter-free.
Every winter, I find myself voicing Goldilocks-worthy complaints about all of my socks: too tall, too thick, too short, too thin. Thankfully, my friend Helena recommended these boot socks that are truly “just right.” They are super comfy with the perfect amount of stretch and come six pairs to a pack, in solids or patterns.
This velvet ribbon is one of my favorite tablescape tricks because it’s a very inexpensive way to make your table more festive (or any area of your home). It’s available in ten different colors, but I love the chocolate brown ribbon for Thanksgiving. Tie it in a bow around napkins (no fancy napkin rings necessary!), vases, or topiaries, and all of a sudden you have added rich texture to your table without doing much. Plus, the remaining ribbon can be tied into other holiday décor or gift wrapping.
This fuchsia velvet jacket from Veronica Beard has me in a chokehold. The bright fuchsia color, the velvet, the CRYSTAL BUTTONS. VB makes a matching mini skirt if you want to go full Barbie, but I’d probably wear the suit jacket with black leather pants or this slip dress for a full pink monochrome. A blazer and slip dress was my favorite pregnancy uniform (seen here and here) but it's also just one of my all-time favorite combos pregnant or not. If you're on the same page, note that this Amazon slip version is a great layering slip dress that I own in several colors.
Whether it’s skiing, nature walks or climbing trees like my girls, winter activities require outerwear that keeps children warm and dry and that’s not always an easy find. Northern Classics makes the cutest, best quality outerwear for littles because it was founded with outdoor play in mind. From coats and snow pants to hats and mittens, Northern Classics will keep your little ones cozy so they can focus on what really matters: pelting their father with a snowballs while Mommy waves from the window.
I seem to always have a small human scrunched up in my lap, so keeping myself de-wrinkled often feels like an Olympic sport. I’ve shared it before, but this wrinkle release spray from Downy continues to be my secret weapon. We use it SO MUCH. It’s not only effective on clothes, but if you’ve left sheets in the dryer too long, a few quick sprays will smooth wrinkles, remove static and leave your sheets looking crisp. If only this wrinkle release spray did the same for the undereye area of parents with newborns.
Doen’s new arrivals for the holidays are packed with tulle and velvet and silken textures, and that’s not just the clothes. I am particularly smitten with these peep-toe kitten heels in red velvet with leather trim. The curved heel and bow detail give them the most charming vintage feel and I wouldn’t be afraid to wear them with tights. They also come in black!
Match South launched in 2020 as a passion project to garner support for the restaurant industry but has continued post-pandemic because of people like me who just adore their prints. The brand creates high-quality photographs of matchbooks from classic restaurants, sports teams and hotels like this Plaza New York print that I’m obsessed with. You can shop the 12x12 inch prints by state and add a frame to make it a memorable and personal gift this holiday season.
I’m always asked about the fuzzy slippers that can often be seen in my Instastories and I’m thrilled to tell you: they’re delish and so inexpensive. These faux fur slippers are made with memory foam that makes a few steps down the stairs feel like hopping on clouds. They come in twelve different colors and are currently 44% off!
I recently looked up how often one should wash one’s makeup brushes and was horrified to find Dr. Google suggests every 7-10 days. Not only am I wildly behind schedule, but my makeup brushes are in horrific shape. In order to bring them back to life, I’ve invested in this electric makeup brush cleaner. This electric machine uses high-speed water flow that effectively cleans makeup residue and dirt from cosmetic brushes. I also got this collapsible drying rack because brushes need to dry upside down so water and bacteria doesn't degrade the brush's binding. Once done, I can collapse and stow away the drying rack so my bathroom counter no longer rivals the clutter of a kitchen sink after Thanksgiving dinner.
There has been a lot of focus on the clothes in my holiday collection with BURU (as there should be), but I can’t get over the vintage-inspired earrings. We made three statement earrings that are timeless pieces meant to be styled with everything. If you’re looking for some sparkle to add your holiday party outfits this season, check out the brass woven earrings, these black enamel beauties, and these fabulous lion head earrings.
If you don’t have a good place in your closet for hats, these gold hat stands are a handy solution. They make for a really cute way to display your hats like art on a dresser or shelf, which is what I'm doing in my daughters' room. The set comes with four gold brushed stainless steel stands that can be adjusted to different heights. Not only are they a beautiful way to store your hats, they keep your hats’ shape so they don’t get crushed under the caftans and tote bags swimming around in the back of your closet.
Well, the Instagram ads have finally worked on me and I purchased this emergency fire blanket. It’s a 40x40 inch fiberglass fire blanket that can extinguish small fires quickly, without the mess of a fire extinguisher. This is a must for the kitchen or emergency kit and unlike traditional fire extinguishers, the blanket never expires. Here’s hoping I never have to actually use it.
I have long-loved longline vests and am pleased to welcome this quilted beauty from Mango to my growing and highly-used collection. It’s not only water-repellent, this vest features the coziest quilting and the hood is detachable. I cannot find a single thing in my closet that wouldn’t look amazing paired with this deep khaki shade.
I have a solid collection of Christmas tree ornaments, but I leave room each year for newcomers I may welcome into the fold if they’re really special. These hot air balloon initial ornaments from Anthropologie are made of hand-painted glass and you can choose the recipient's initial, making them a sweet way to personalize your tree or a magical gift this holiday season.
I can't stop thinking about this coat from Liberowe. It's a major investment coat, but the details and craftmanship are sublime. With a slim, ankle-grazing fit, sharp tailoring and velvet trim, the coat is also available in white and gray. Snuggle up in this opulent topper and give Old Man Winter the cold shoulder.
I just got this mirrored tray for the girls’ room and it is so beautiful in person, I ordered another one for my bathroom vanity. The gold (or silver) mirrored tray is the perfect size to store perfume, jewelry, makeup, or even candles and trinkets on your vanity.
