Monday Memo No. 173
The final week of my collab with Monica Rich Kosann plus tons of great finds for sunny days ahead…

Friendly reminder that my special collaboration with Monica Rich Kosann will be available for only ONE MORE WEEK! I am so grateful to all of you who have already purchased one of our limited-edition Mary Charms and hope you’re loving them as much as I do. I legitimately don’t think I’ll ever take mine off. They’re the prettiest, easiest pieces to wear everyday — on their own or layered with other favorite jewelry.
Each delicate, rectangular charm is adorned with meaningful details on front and back and is complete with a dazzling diamond below a space where your initial can be engraved in script or block font. The charm can be purchased on a charm bracelet, necklace or as a charm alone (to be added to a chain or bracelet already in your jewelry box!), and is available in both 18k gold and sterling silver. They make for the most amazing, personal Mother’s Day gift because the quality of these heirloom pieces is truly unmatched. They are pieces to be worn everyday, forever and passed down to future generations.
The gold is breathtaking, but the sterling silver version has been very popular which is no surprise because Monica Rich Kosann’s sterling silver is not your average sterling silver. Each sterling silver piece is plated with rhodium — a precious metal more expensive than gold — so the silver never tarnishes and shines as brilliantly as gold. See the full collection here and remember the pieces are only available until Tuesday, May 2nd!

If you’ve ever written a research paper the night before it was due, this notice is for you. There is no more time to procrastinate, TODAY (4/24) is the final day to shop Sephora’s biannual Savings Event! If you have Rouge status, you can save 20% with code SAVENOW. VIBs and Insiders can save 15%, Insiders save 10%. HERE is everything I bought from the sale, including my favorite everyday foundation from Hourglass, this Fenty lip cream I’ve wanted to try for ages, and a couple new shades of my favorite Armani lip product that is so hydrated and long-lasting.

Mother’s Day is around the corner and Lake Pajamas’ new arrivals offer the spring refresh everyone (mother or not) needs. These new arrivals from Lake are chock-full of springy florals and stripes that are all made from the SOFTEST 100% Peruvian Pima cotton. Treat yourself or give someone the best PJs they'll ever own with 10% off when you use the code MARYXLAKE. I've been obsessed with their PJs for years, but have to say that their robes have been my absolute favorites lately. With an attached belt that never gets lost, they're just the perfect layer to lounge in all day. Also, they offer the prettiest gift boxes that make any purchase (for yourself or a loved one) feel extra special.

The inaugural collection from Eleanor Leftwich just launched and it is BEYOND. Each piece is made of Italian fabrics from the Como region so excuse me while I Google how to say “Add to Cart” in Italian. From caftans to shirts to dresses and trousers, the whole collection is only fifteen pieces, but each one is a beautifully-crafted, colorful work of art. It's the kind of collection that makes you want to do a happy dance every time you put on one of the pieces.

Hey, remember when we talked about Uniqlo's non-iron shirts? Yeah, they're still the best. Rich wears these shirsts but, more importantly, I wear these. No, I’m not talking about stealing them from his closet, I’m talking about the many, many pairs I have ordered for myself (just going down a size). They are wrinkle-resistant and the perfect oversized fit. These feats of science will only run you $40, but the fact you can wash them without having to iron them after makes them priceless.

This classic fashion tape is a longtime mainstay in my wardrobe but these accessory dots from the same brand are equally versatile and easy for keeping your garments in place — whether that’s a plunging neckline or simply a button-down stretching to accommodate a seven-month-pregnant tummy. This pack includes 25 perfectly-sized, double-stick dots ideal for quick repairs and adjustments that won’t leave adhesive residue on your fabrics. Whenever a button-down shirt doesn’t open quite at the right level, I unbutton the closest button and place one of these dots right at my bust line to keep it from opening too wide. They’re also a great fix for keeping the long end of a belt in place. While classic fashion tape will always hold a special place in my heart, these dots have definitely earned a spot in my top drawer. They're discreet, easy to use, and work like a charm. Trust me, once you start using them, you won't be able to imagine life without them.

The original cable helix David Yurman is known for has been given a sculpted upgrade in the brand's new sculpted cable collection. All of the twisted sterling silver or 18K gold pieces are beautiful — the rings, the bracelets, the cuffs, the earrings. I even bypassed a number of hoop earrings in favor of this silver choker. It’s like a shiny sculpture I can’t wait to display at the art gallery known as “my neck.” It would make the perfect layering piece with my silver personalized charm necklace.

In an effort to stop adding non-essential waste to the world, fashion writer Sarah Bray Bermuda launched a collection of antique, vintage, and recycled ribbons. This gorgeous, sustainable collection is my new favorite source for finding the perfect finishing touch to hats, handbags, dresses and more. The vintage patterns are breathtaking and the trimmed ends won’t fray with use. They’d look good wrapped around a special gift, tied into your hair or even woven around a straw hat (as seen here).

Saint James has been crafting nautical knits for over 100 years, making it my personal patron saint of stripes. This striped Phare tunic is glorious, not just for its classic Breton stripe factor, but specifically for the fabric. It’s made for seaside life so it protects you from the sun, quickly dries, and is super breathable. It’s the optimal tunic top to have on hand as we head into warmer temperatures. With lots of classic colorways to choose from, this top is absolutely worth the investment.

Interior designer and bestselling author Erin Gates has teamed up with Kassatex for the ultimate capsule bedding collection. The collection is full of beautiful taupe and slate neutrals that can easily be mixed, matched and styled in any bedroom. The light, airy design marries polish and comfort and seems to have arrived just in time for warmer weather. Don’t sleep on this collection! But definitely do, you know?

This peel and stick whiteboard from Chasing Paper is such a sweet way to end the day with littles. The board, entitled "OH SO GRATEFUL," encourages little ones to practice gratitude by listing something they are grateful for, each day of the week. It helps my girls pay attention to the good things in life we might otherwise take for granted. And for that, I am grateful.

Sometimes I see a clothing item so perfect, I worry I'm going to dislocate a finger adding it to cart too quickly. Helmut Lang’s pink blazer vest and matching pull-on suit pant is a stunning example of just that. Together, they are the dreamiest summer suit made modern. I absolutely ADORE the long line blazer vest which is chic worn closed, allowing the darted waist and conveniently-concealed single-breasted button to shine. However, throw on a sneaker, and a tank or tee under this sucker and you've got an easy casual ensemble. Also, “pull-on suit pants” is not a typo — these suit pants have an elastic waistband. God bless.

Having two small daughters (and a third on the way) means our house sometimes looks like a hair accessories boutique. That’s why this hair accessory organizer is so necessary. The tiered design is made from a sleek acrylic that’s easy to put together and display all their hair things without the mess. It comes in a two or three tiered design, which is great, but with a third girl on the way, I may need them to start adding more tiers.

The female-founded brand De Loreta celebrates Latin American history and folklore through its use of bold colors and vivid prints. Take a look at their collection, it’s truly magical. I may be too pregnant for a trip to Rio right now, but that doesn’t mean I can’t dress like I just got back. I love all of their designs but this swingy print palazzo pant is currently in my cart. It’s such a vibrant piece that speaks for itself. All you have to do is pair it with a tank, tee or sweater set and head out the door.

My love affair with all things straw for spring/summer lives on in this woven clutch bag from boho chic brand BTB Los Angeles. The clutch has a twist lock closure and removable gold strap, so it can be worn as a crossbody. I personally like the natural straw, but these additional colors (sage, black and petal pink) are also cute options for adding a pop of color to your spring 'fits.

These pleated A-line shorts from Anthropologie are officially the chicest short for summer. Say that ten times fast. The ivory colorway matches everything and the A-line silhouette is flattering on everyone. Whether you dress it up with a crisp button-down and statement jewelry or dress it down with a tank top, I promise you’ll be wearing these shorts all summer long.

This floral button-down from Favorite Daughter is, for all intents and purposes, the spring and summer shacket we all need and deserve. I would wallpaper my bedroom with this antique floral pattern, but until that becomes an option, I'll just wear it on my back everyday. And, because of its long, curved hem and mid-weight fabric, it can be worn as a shirt or as a lightweight spring jacket over... absolutely anything in your closet.

I have been waiting over a year for these Emme Parsons Laurie sandals to be restocked in my size and it was worth the wait. You might hear “toe ring” and think of a drum circle at Burning Man, but Emme Parsons has incorporated a gold toe ring into her Laurie flats that looks like modern art for your feet. They come in black and this rich Cacao Nappa leather (the colorway I chose!). The leather stretches over time, but I’d still recommend going up one full size.

I bought a skirt similar to this tiered one from Banjanan last summer and wore it EVERYWHERE. People were furious every time I wore it in my Instagram stories because it sold out so fast. This one is a lightweight voile with an elastic waistband and sweet candy stripe pattern. It’s pretty, breathable and based on the DMs, an item with very high sell-out potential. Snag this one while you can. Did I mention the waist is elastic? Are we noticing a trend?

A good bra is hard to find. I’d like to share my current favorite because somewhere, someone is always in the market. They named this lightly lined racerback bra from Spanx the “Bra-llelujah” because holy moly, is it a Godsend. Ultra comfortable, the lift and support is ideal for medium-large chests. It has an easy front closure and dig-free "SmartStretch" straps. My code MARYOXSPANX is still active for 10% off.

I was furious when I first spotted this electric pink bow dress and it was completely sold out (for obvious reasons). But, Tuckernuck restocked it and you better believe I was first in line. I was fully on board with the hot pink midi dress alone, but then they went and added that black sequin bow embellishment which killed me. I could not resist. And, if you’re feeling festive, the citron style with feather-cuffed elbow-length sleeves is another conversation starter!

We use this set of three rectangular baking dishes from Le Creuset CONSTANTLY and Nordstrom has stocked the set in six colors that are all currently 30% off. If you’re not familiar, Le Creuset is the gold standard in glazed stoneware dishes that are broiler, oven and microwave safe. Oh, and they last a lifetime. The deep sidewalls and varying sizes make this specific set ideal for baking, roasting, marinating, even storing leftovers. We also use the small one for baked hors d'oeuvres all the time.

Nothing beats a Nike classic. This sweatshirt and matching high waist sweatpants are the perfect fit and lined with dreamy, brushed fleece. The crewneck sweatshirt, adorned with a simple swoosh, comes in nearly two dozen pretty shades. And, the flattering high-rise sweatpants are available in a similar rainbow of colors along with regular and short length options. You'll be hard-pressed to find a better sweatsuit in prettier shades for spring and summer lazy days.
