Monday Memo No. 162
Bag organizers, bagels and a bath mat so fluffy I’d curl up and sleep on it like a cat.

As is my custom on social media, I recently posted a thoroughly unhinged video of myself moments before heading into a dental appointment. I was stressing about the dreaded question, "So, tell me about your flossing habits," because YIKES. It ain't twice a day, Doc. Flossing habits aside, I was wearing an old Stand Studio shearling coat in the video and my DMs over the past week have been flooded with requests for the jacket details. Sadly, the exact version I'm wearing is sold out from last winter, but I shared several stunning similar styles linked here for your perusal. Nothing is cozier!
P.S. My ivory cableknit sweater in this picture is Theory and looks like there are a few still available here! And the mittens on a string linked here!

Okay, hear me out on this one: there is no greater ICK than the feeling of water running down your forearms into the sleeve of your pajamas when you wash your face at night. A friend of mine recently divulged this game-changing trick she said she learned from the fabulous Anna Mae Groves who wears athletic bands like these sweat bands on her wrists while washing her face every night. Not only do they keep your forearms dry, but if anyone invites you to play late-night tennis, you’ll be ready.

There’s nothing worse than investing in a beautiful handbag or tote and then spending five minutes fishing through it every time your phone rings. One inner pocket is simply not enough, especially if you have small humans that seem to require all manner of paraphernalia no matter how short the jaunt to the pharmacy. I’ve shared versions of these bag organizers before, but I think this organizer may truly be the cream of the crop. It has nearly two dozen color and size options to fit absolutely any bag in your closet and the organization options are supreme.

BetterBrand is changing the game on healthy bagel alternatives and all I have to say is FINALLY. These low-carb, high protein bagels come in classic, cinnamon or my favorite: everything. Instead of 50g of carbs, they have 5g but still completely satisfy that doughy NY bagel craving. God bless.

Agua by Augua Bendita makes artisanal pieces like this pareo, which epitomize the brand’s playful, chic, tropical style. I bought a very similar one from the brand last year and wore it CONSTANTLY—as a scarf, a beach coverup, a skirt—you name it. If you have any warm weather travel, invest now. Even if you’re not hitting the beach anytime soon, snag this pareo anyway because they sold out so quickly last year.

Have you ever done laundry and lost a toddler sock? Let me rephrase that: Have you ever done laundry and not lost a toddler sock? Small people wear small clothes and this drying rack has sixteen clips to keep track of all of those small styles. It's also amazing for adult intimates or any delicate items that can get lost or damaged in the shuffle. The rack is super easy to hang and folds up when not in use.

Lady Gaga launched her vegan, cruelty-free cosmetics brand Haus Labs in 2019 and I’ve been eager to try the medium coverage foundation ever since I heard @CourtneyGrow’s rave review. According to beauty experts on TikTok, it has the most high tech formula on the market with a triple silicone formula, when most other brands have only two. It comes in over FIFTY shades and if Lady Gaga’s skin is any indication, it’s worth a try.

This oversized cashmere turtleneck from Everlane fits like a dream and has the perfect turtleneck neckline that you can leave standing straight up or tuck inward to make a lower mock neck. The quality has held up BEAUTIFULLY season after season and comes in six stunning colors.

Supergut understands the importance fiber plays in balancing your gut and that’s why they’ve come up with some really delicious shakes and brownie bars. Blend their shake mixes with 12 oz water or milk (and ice) and you’ve got a complete meal with 20g of fiber and 15g protein. These shakes come in chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and mocha latte flavors or an unflavored powder you can mix into your drink/soup of choice (surprise, mine’s coffee).

This mid-weight quilted puffer jacket from Urban Revivo is such a cute winter-to-spring transition jacket and it comes at an amazing price. The contrasting black trim and gorgeous wave-shaped closure will go with anything and I'm a huge fan of cute outerwear that allows you to throw on a bunch of simple basics, but still look like you tried.

Babs of @BrunchWithBabs has no shortage of incredible life hacks, but this latest packing tip for jewelry shook me. In order to avoid the inevitable tangling of necklaces, Babs recommends storing jewelry in cling wrap, which is GENIUS. Watch the full video here for all of her brilliant packing hacks.

All of Lake’s loungewear is made from high-quality, super soft 100% Peruvian cotton and their Valentine’s Day collection is a great reason to give them a try. Hearts, kisses and stripes adorn their adorable collection of nightgowns, robes and pajamas—including a dozen styles in kids and baby sizes and a padded eye mask for the sugar hangover I’ll undoubtedly have on February 15th.

My friend Jean Wang recently founded Edited Pieces, which releases a curated collection of high-quality fashion accessories with a focus on refined classics. My personal favorite is this reversible belt that was just restocked. The double-sided, two-toned leather makes these belts amazingly versatile and the perfect finishing touch for everything from jeans to sweater dresses.

I categorize my life into two parts: before discovering this cream and after discovering this cream. It is AMAZING. The winter months allow me to neglect my feet and elbows since I can hide them under socks/sleeves but every time I shower I’m like YIKES. This ultra softening cream is also a godsend come spring/summer so I always keep a jar on my bathroom counter. Personally, I apply it to my elbows and heels at night then put socks on and by morning, dead skin falls right off in the shower with the help of my favorite exfoliating mitt.

Whether you associate them with horseback riding or Jane Fonda workout videos, stirrup pants are super chic and LA-based loungewear brand LESET has already achieved stirrup pant perfection with these belted black leggings. They’ve got a high-rise waist with a built in belt, which gives them an elevated look you can wear for so much more than leisure sports.

Most adhesive removers smell like they’re going to give you a pulmonary condition because they probably are. Thankfully, lemon essential oil is a completely natural alternative and my go-to with super sticky goo of any kind. This oil is great at removing stubborn price tags or sticker adhesive that my kids leave on furniture. Coco and Liza are DEEP into the sticker phase of life, so I keep this on hand.

I have accidentally thrown a delicate in with my gen pop wash more times than I care to recall, which is why this laundry basin set is such a great idea. The set includes a colorful, flexible basin that I throw my delicates in after wearing and then also use for soaking the laundry. It comes with a no-rinse detergent and a travel-size lotion and with scents like fig, yuzu, scentless or even lace-specific, this set will become the VIP of your laundry room.

Just about the only reason you’ll ever want to get OUT of a luxurious bubble bath is when an equally luxurious bath mat awaits. I love the look of a really classic, minimal bath mat but hate that they’re always basically just a thin towel you put on the ground. It’s like you can either buy plush bath rugs or something chic that’s flat as a pancake. This cloud bath rug is the best of both worlds and has a memory foam insert that feels like stepping out of the shower and onto a cloud.

I’ve always collected matchboxes from my favorite restaurants and love to use them so whenever I throw a baby shower, bachelorette, bridal shower, etc., I get these personalized matchbox barrels made. You can choose from various fonts, colors and designs and they’re such a fun way for people to remember a special event.

Cath Kidston, the joyful Notting Hill-based brand, does not get enough play in the states so I’m doing my part to spread the gospel by recommending a scroll through all of their offerings. I recently fell in love with their sneaker collab with Gola, namely the Kingston Ditsy and Love Letter print sneakers. Don't wait for spring flowers, walk them into existence.

I received this Flower Color Guide as a gift and have referred to it countless times since. Created by the famed NYC floral designers, it is the book they say they wish they had when they started doing flowers. The Flower Color Guide is the first reference book to organize flower types by color, with an emphasis on seasonality and creative color schemes. It’s the most amazing resource anytime you’re planning a party, dinner, wedding—anything that requires floral design. When I’m throwing a dinner party, I’ll often reference the book for the flowers I want and then I can call the local florist to place an order for the blooms I need. It’s a beautiful read full of gorgeous photography and flower care tips, even when you’re not planning a party.

Little-know fact: Your favorite festive brand Meri Meri has a page of free projects for snowy Saturdays, Birthday parties and a response to “I’m bored.” The Mini Makes are all totally free, downloadable and often have Instagram or TikTok video tutorials for making heirloom-quality crafts like paper dolls, Lunar New Year lanterns, and friendship bracelets.

My friend Hannah, who founded @KilteCollection posted this Twitter thread which is a super interesting deep dive into quality knitwear and why quality and pricing can sometimes seem all over the place. Read up before your next knitwear investment!

A good friend got this SkyView table lamp for Christmas and insists it has changed her life in the past month alone. It utilizes NASA technology (yes, NASA) to harness the natural colors of nature to support our circadian rhythm throughout the day. It’s definitely an investment but the cost-per-use analysis is compelling, especially since it makes such a difference in your health! Also available in black here.

This Barbie chef set is an adorable gift for the Barbie-lover in your life. The adorable tin gift box includes five kinds of Gragnano Pasta, a a recipe book, and a limited edition chef Barbie doll. ADORABLE (and delicious).

Do you use a Korean exfoliating mitt as a bag organizer? 😉 I think the link is incorrect…
The sweat band idea for face washing is a game changer-totally made my day and excited to wash my face at night now!
The thread on cashmere is fascinating. Off to Ebay I go!
