Here’s the hitch: baby showers, like weddings, can range from very casual to very dressy. Since there’s no universal standard, take cues from the hostess and the venue to get an idea of how formally you should dress. If you know the gender of the baby, it can be fun to pick a color accordingly, but if they’re keeping it a surprise, wear a gender-neutral palette like yellow or black and white!
I love this dress because few people can add an embellishment to a polka dot print and get it right, but Mango pulled it off beautifully. This button-detail dress opts for a wrap front and a-line silhouette, one of those pieces that’s going to keep you super comfortable all day without looking like it. Also, I’m not mad about a dress that’s utterly seasonless—you better believe you’ll see me in this next July as well. However, one of the dress’s best features has got to be that price tag. Could you spend an entire day shopping Mango dresses under $100? Yeah, same.
