In continuation of my new Triple Threat series, I’m excited to share three (four, really!) ways to style one of my favorite pieces of late—the trench dress. The magic of this modern spin on the classic trench coat lies in it’s incredible versatility. Check it…

For the office, it can be worn buttoned up as a simple dress or, as indicated above, open over a pencil skirt and classic button front shirt. I love the colorful square silk scarf pictured above that can polish off either look.
For a casual day at work, it certainly looks great worn open with an all black ensemble underneath as styled in the product photo, but I love the color play between the pale blue of the chambray, burgundy bag and black basics.
For an easy weekend look—whether you’re running errands or headed to brunch—it’s the perfect top layer to finish off a casual get-up of ripped jeans, sneakers (how good are those?!) and a classic t-shirt. All you need is a Bloody Mary to complete the look.
And, if that’s not enough options for you, you may remember my all blush look from last week (post here) in which I wore a blush trench dress open over a blush sheath dress. Check out that silk trench dress and more favorites here…
