  11. I’m a huge fan normally, but I’m not convinced this would really look appropriate in most offices. It could be I’m a fuddy duddy and just don’t know the new rules? jodie

    Hi Mary,

Love this look- also love the look of the jumper.

Just wondering how lightweight the material is. Do you have to wear a singlet underneath it, or could you get away with wearing it just as a top and then a jacket over the top?

Thanks – Brighid (all the way from Melbourne, Australia- love love love your blog)

    • Mary Orton says:

Thank you Brighid! This sweater is amazing — it’s lightweight enough for warmer weather, but holds its shape well and isn’t sheer. Here, I’m actually not wearing a camisole underneath, and there’s no show-through. It would be great for wearing with a blazer, because it won’t feel bulky underneath. I highly recommend it!

Who can possibly carry cropped pants better than you! I haven’t worn cropped pants for ages and am tempted to try again. I love seeing bold colors but I probably dare not to put these together. I’m so enjoying your Spring/ Summer looks. Yay! No trench coat.
