In addition to a good-old-fashioned colorblock dress (that slims the bajeezus out of you), we’re obsessed with metallic accents this season, and especially excited to incorporate the trend into our work wardrobes via this gold-toe heel. Ted Baker also makes a beautiful version of the shoe, but his may be a bit high for the office. So, a little looking around produced several more comfortable and office-appropriate versions including these by Chinese Laundry.
Keep it classy, people.

Keep it classy, ladies.

Emerald is the color of the year and it’s high time it makes an appearance in your work wardrobe. Also, incorporating any shade of green into your office attire has been proven extremely effective in subliminally convincing your boss that you deserve a raise. Thus, there’s a direct correlation between staying on trend, and moving up at work. It’s science. Don’t argue.
